How to split screen on Mac

To split your screen on a Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Click and hold the full-screen button in the top left corner of a window.

  2. Drag the window to the left or right side of the screen. The window will take up half of the screen and a grey divider will appear between the two windows.

  3. Select the other window that you want to display on the other side of the screen.

  4. Drag the window to the left or right side of the screen, and release it when you see a blue highlight around the edge of the screen. The window will take up the other half of the screen.

You can also use the “Mission Control” feature to split your screen. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the “Mission Control” panel by clicking the “Mission Control” icon in the Dock or by using the “Control” + “Up” keyboard shortcut.

  2. Drag the window that you want to display on one side of the screen to the top of the screen.

  3. Drag the window that you want to display on the other side of the screen to the bottom of the screen.

  4. Click the “Full Screen” button in the top left corner of each window to make them full screen.

  5. Use the grey divider between the two windows to adjust the size of each window.
