How to Screenshot on Windows

There are several ways to take a screenshot on a Windows computer:

  1. Press the “Print Screen” button on your keyboard. This will capture a screenshot of your entire screen and save it to the clipboard. You can then paste the screenshot into an image editor or document by pressing “Ctrl” + “V”

  2. Press “Alt” + “Print Screen” to capture a screenshot of the active window.

  3. Use the “Snipping Tool” to capture a custom screenshot. To open the Snipping Tool, go to the Start menu and search for “Snipping Tool.” Then, select the area of the screen that you want to capture and save it as an image.

  4. Use the “Windows + Shift + S” keyboard shortcut to capture a screenshot using the “Snip & Sketch” tool. This will allow you to select the area of the screen that you want to capture and then save it as an image.

  5. Use the “Windows + PrtScn” keyboard shortcut to automatically save a screenshot of your entire screen to the “Screenshots” folder in your “Pictures” folder.
